The Speaker of the House of Representatives, Abbas Tajudeen, has assured that the President Bola Tinubu-led government will ensure that Nigerians reap the benefits of their God-given natural resources.

Speaker Abbas in a statement by his Special Adviser Media and Publicity, Musa Krishi on Sunday stated this while playing host to the Emir of Agwatashi in Nasarawa State, Abubakar Apeshi in Abuja.

The Speaker who disclosed that President Tinubu’s administration would work in collaboration with the 10th National Assembly said he’s aware of the recent discovery of a crude oil reserve in Nasarawa State, particularly within the Agwatashi Emirate, following extensive geodetic survey by experts from the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited research.

He expressed confidence in the commitment of President Tinubu to make Nigeria’s natural resources work for the benefit of the citizens.
