Some Governors, Ministers, top Presidential Aides and Leaders of the All Progressives Congress, APC, had accompanied the President to present the budget in the past.
He charged all stakeholders to work together irrespective of their political affiliations to make Nigeria a working country that Nigerians will be proud of.

This was in a statement by the Director of Communication and Media of the Osagie Ize-Iyamu Campaign Organisation, John Mayaki, who reacted to claims that APC candidate, Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu appealed to Governor Godwin Obaseki to return to APC.
Obaseki spoke on Monday in Benin while addressing supporters of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) at Kings square shortly after a victory match around Benin city.
The group called on the national leadership of APC to urge governor Fayemi to retrace his steps before the fortune of the party in Ekiti fades off.
According to Alh. Ibrahim Bilal, state Chairman of APC, the former PDP governor in the state dumped his party with thousands of his supporters.
“Our investigation revealed that Mr. Femi Ayodele, the Ikere LG Chairman was not involved in the alleged unsolicited and unauthorised presidential campaign in the media".
The Minister was reacting to the recent erection of some billboards across Ado Ekiti, the state capital and other strategic locations across the state by some political groups, calling on him to join the race in view of what they described as his good leadership traits.
There have been battle between the Ayodele Fayose, former governor's camp and Senator Abiodun Olujimi on which camp controls the state PDP.
