Sanwo-Olu, Lai Mohammed, Gbenga Daniel to Grace 7th Freedom Online Annual Lecture

Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu will deliver the keynote address on Thursday at the 7th annual lecture of Freedom Online newspaper in Ikeja, Lagos.

The lecture, themed **“2027 Elections, Economy, Security and Nigeria’s Future,”** will bring together prominent figures from the political, business and media sectors to examine critical issues shaping Nigeria’s future ahead of the 2027 general elections.

Former Minister of Information, Alhaji Lai Mohammed, will chair the event. In contrast, former Ogun State Governor and Senator representing Ogun East Senatorial District, Gbenga Daniel, will serve as the Special Guest of Honour.

In a statement, the Managing Director/Editor-in-Chief of Freedom Online, Gabriel Akinadewo, said other eminent Nigerians are expected to attend the event, describing it as an important platform for discussing the political, economic and security challenges confronting the country.

The President of the Nigerian Guild of Editors and Editor of Vanguard, Eze Anaba, will serve as the Chief Host.

The lecture is expected to provide an opportunity for stakeholders to share perspectives and proffer solutions on the economy, national security and the political direction of Nigeria as the country approaches the 2027 elections.
