Oyebanji Hits Ground Running, Appoints SSG, CPS

Less than 24 hours after being sworn in as the 4th executive governor of Ekiti state, Abiodun Oyebanji has appointed the Secretary to the state government and Chief Press Secretary.

Dr Habitat Omolara Adubiaro is to serve as the Secretary to the State Government while Yinka Oyebode plays the role of the Chief Press Secretary.

In a letter signed by the head of service, Barr. Bamidele Agbede, the appointments take effect immediately.

It would be recalled that Yinka Oyebode , a veteran journalist, was the Chief Press Secretary to the immediate past governor, Kayode Fayemi.

When contacted, Oyeboode thanked the governor Biodun Oyebanji for the appointment and promised deliver in fulfilling the governor’s vision for the state.

Meanwhile, His Excellency, Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji has frozen all accounts of the State Government with immediate effect.

He directed that all accounting officers and financial institutions to comply with this directive.
