Femi Kuti, Falana In Court For Seun’s Trial

Afrobeat musician, Seun Kuti, on Wednesday, arrived at the Magistrates court in Yaba, Lagos, for his trial over the assault of a police officer.

Senior Advocate of Nigeria, Femi Falana, and the singer’s brother, Femi Kuti, were also at the court.

This comes after the police released Seun Kuti on bail on Tuesday night, after he was detained when he turned himself in on May 15, 2023.

The PUNCH reported that the trial of the Afrobeat musician was adjourned to Wednesday, May 24, 2023 after the court failed to sit on the matter on Tuesday.
