Community Leaders Express Support for Adaramola in Abuja
The Igede-Ekiti Descendants Union (IDU), Abuja branch, has expressed its support for the former Chairman of Irepodun/Ifelodun Local Government Area of Ekiti State, Hon. Toba Adaramola (HTA), who recently announced his intention to contest for the seat of Ekiti Central Federal Constituency I in the House of Representatives.
This assurance was given by the Chairman of the IDU, Abuja branch, Dr. Sunday Oluyemi, during the branch’s monthly meeting, which was attended by community leaders, elders, youth, and other stakeholders from the town. The announcement elicited strong reactions of support and encouragement from those present.
In his address to the meeting, Adaramola stated that his decision to enter the race was the result of “extensive consultations and careful reflection” on the needs of his constituency. He emphasized that his aspiration is founded on a commitment to provide effective representation and bring tangible development to the people.
He urged members of the Igede community, both within Nigeria and abroad, to unite in support of his candidacy, describing the endeavour as a collective effort aimed at advancing the constituency towards progress and opportunity.
In separate remarks, several community leaders praised his track record and described his declaration as timely. They encouraged him to remain steadfast and pledged their support as preparations for the forthcoming elections gain momentum.
The leaders extended their best wishes for his political journey and assured a renewed commitment from stakeholders to actively engage in the electoral process.
