Kebbi State Governor Atiku Bagudu has been elected as chairman of the Progressive Governors Forum.
Bagudu, whose election was unanimous, replaces the outgoing Imo State Governor Rochas Okorocha, whose tenure ends on May 29.
The forum is made up of governors elected on the platform of the All Progressives Congress.
The election took place at Imo Governor’s Lodge in Abuja on Thursday night.
Bagudu promised to work towards making the party stronger. Rochas Okorocha has a running battle with INEC before he was issued his certificate of return.
