Baba-Ahmed Takes Aim at Tinubu, Says He Has Failed
The National Chairman of the Peoples Redemption Party, Hakeem Baba-Ahmed, has described President Bola Tinubu’s administration as a failure.
Baba-Ahmed made the statement on Tuesday while appearing on Channels Television’s Politics Today.
He acknowledged that Tinubu inherited a country facing significant challenges but faulted the president for what he described as a lack of progress in addressing them after three and a half years in office.
“Tinubu inherited Nigeria, but what has he done with it? He inherited a poor country; he inherited weak institutions; he inherited poverty and insecurity. We don’t blame him, but he’s been in power for three and a half years. He is a failure,” Baba-Ahmed said.
He said Nigerians are now in deeper trouble than when Tinubu took over in 2023, with insecurity, hunger and hardship worsening across the country.
According to him, the President promised to secure Nigerians and improve their living conditions but has failed to live up to those promises.
