Transfer: Ademola Lookman goes on strike to force Atalanta exit

Atalanta winger Ademola Lookman failed to report for training on Monday.

Lookman has formally submitted a transfer request to the Serie A club, seeking to force a move away this summer.

Inter Milan had an offer of €42m plus €3m rejected by Atalanta, a decision that has reportedly left Lookman frustrated.

With Atalanta unwilling to sell to another Italian club, the Nigerian’s future remains uncertain.

Football transfer expert Fabrizio Romano wrote on X: “Ademola Lookman didn’t show up for training today as he keeps insisting on plan to leave Atalanta.

“Atalanta maintain their position, no way to let him go for €42m plus €3m proposal rejected last week.

“No fresh bid from Inter so far.”
