The wife of Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola, popularly known as Yayi, Chief (Mrs.) Temitope Adeola, has urged women of the All Progressives Congress in Ogun State to mobilise two million votes for President Bola Tinubu, her husband, and other party candidates in the 2027 general elections.

Adeola made the call at the Ogun State Political Women Stakeholders Forum held on Tuesday, November 3, 2026, where she urged women to leverage their numerical strength and grassroots influence to secure victory for the APC.

She said women constituted a significant proportion of registered voters in the state, stressing the need to translate their numbers into active political participation through sustained grassroots mobilisation. She challenged each participant to engage at least 10 eligible voters and encourage them to support the party.

Also speaking, the wife of the Ogun State Governor, Mrs Bamidele Abiodun, urged women to move beyond being passive supporters and become active drivers of political success. She called on them to mobilise voters across their communities and remain united and committed to securing victory for Tinubu and Senator Adeola.

Similarly, the Deputy Governor of Ogun State, Noimot Salako-Oyedele, commended the Dapo Abiodun-led administration for empowering women and expressed confidence that Senator Adeola would improve women’s inclusion in governance if elected. She urged APC women to mobilise support for all the party’s candidates in the state.
