FG Releases Admission List Of 104 Unity Schools

Date:

The Federal Ministry of Education has released the admission list of the 104 Federal Government Colleges in the 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.

The Permanent Secretary, Mr Sonny Echono, who approved the release of the admission lists in Abuja on Wednesday, said the pupils are for the 2019/2020 academic session.

He instructed the successful intakes to go online and confirm the acceptance of the admission, warning that candidates who failed to confirm the admission within two weeks would be replaced by other candidates.

Echono said the provisional admission lists into the Junior Secondary School 1 in the Federal Government Colleges were on the notice boards in the colleges, their websites, as well as on the National Examinations Council and the Ministry of Education websites.

A release from the ministry read: “The Permanent Secretary, Federal Ministry of Education has approved the release of the admission lists of successful candidates into the Federal Unity Colleges for the 2019/2020 academic year.

“Echono announced that candidates who have been offered provisional admission have two weeks after the release of the results to accept the offer, otherwise, they will be replaced by other candidates.”

To check the admission results, NECO warned on its website that the candidates did not need to purchase cards or tokens and must beware of fraudsters who are trying to exploit ignorant candidates.

The council noted that the pupils could either log into their accounts or visit the NECO Results Portal to check the admission results.
