Ekiti 2022: Eleka Urges PDP Leaders To Close Ranks For Victory

For the deserved victory come 2022 elections in Ekiti state, former deputy governor, Prof. Olusola Kolapo Eleka has urged the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP leaders in the state to close ranks.

Eleka made the plead in his Ikere Ekiti home on Sunday when some leaders across the 16 local governments in the paid him a solidarity visit.

The party chieftain said PDP holds the ace for victory come 2022 if there could be more close ranks among the leaders. He noted that people are more disappointed and tired of APC led-admimistration in Ekiti and Nigeria.

In his words; “Going by every parameter of governance, the current APC-led governments in Ekiti and Nigeria have failed to meet up the standard of purposeful governance”

“Of course Ekiti is not doing well in education, infrastructural development, security and other sectors”.

Eleka said it is important to reiterate that PDP as a political party is a family that cannot strive without a leader who should be a rallying point for all members of the party.

“We believe in the indefatigable leadership of His Excellency, Ayodele Fayose (Osoko) in Ekiti State and his good influence across Nigeria and we must either as individuals or collectively, respect our leaders regardless of interests”

Reacting, Chairman of Ikere LG, Hon. Asebiomo Sunday (Asebe) said it is imperative to further mobilize more people into the PDP in earnest and also appeal to all the aggrieved members to close ranks.
