The All Progressives Congress (APC) National Caucus meeting is underway at the Banquet Hall of the Presidential Villa, Abuja, marking a significant milestone as Governors of Enugu, Peter Mbah, Rivers, Siminalayi Fubara, Delta, Sheriff Oborevwori, Akwa Ibom Umo Eno, Taraba, Agbu Kefas, and Bayelsa Douye Diri attend their first such high-level party gathering.
President Bola Tinubu is chairing the session which also has Vice President Kashim Shettima, President of the Senate, Godswill Akpabio and Speaker of House of Representatives, Tajudeen Abbass and other governors elected on the APC platform, and key party leaders in attendance.
Former Anambra State Governor and Minister of Labour and Productivity, Chris Ngige arrived Presidential Villa for the APC meeting.
This assembly unites APC’s top echelons—including National Working Committee members and influential stakeholders—to address critical national and party matters. Sources indicate discussions centre on boosting internal cohesion, reviewing recent political shifts, and aligning strategies to support the administration’s reform drive ahead of upcoming electoral and governance milestones.
The Independent Electoral Commission (INEC) is observing the process.
