Bagudu In, Okorocha Out as PGF Chair

Kebbi State Governor  Atiku Bagudu has been elected as  chairman of the Progressive Governors Forum.

Bagudu, whose election was unanimous, replaces  the outgoing  Imo State Governor  Rochas Okorocha, whose tenure ends on May 29.

The forum is made up of  governors elected on the platform of the All Progressives Congress.

The election took place  at Imo Governor’s Lodge in Abuja on Thursday night.

Bagudu promised to work towards making the party stronger. Rochas Okorocha has a running battle with INEC before he was issued his certificate of return.
