2024 Olympic Qualifier: 19 Super Falcons players gear up for Ethiopia clash

Nineteen players have arrived at the Super Falcons camp ahead of Wednesday’s 2024 Olympic Games qualifier against Ethiopia.

Big names like Asisat Oshoala, Rasheedat Ajibade, Chiamaka Nnadozie and Oluwatosin Demehin are among the players in camp.

Forward Ifeoma Onumonu is expected in the team’s camp on Tuesday.

The Super Falcons will have their first training session ahead of the game at the Abebe Bekila Stadium, Addis Ababa, on Tuesday night.

The game will kick off at 1:30 pm Nigeria time.

For the return leg of this crucial fixture, the teams will compete at the MKO Abiola National Stadium in Abuja, slated for Tuesday, 31st October 2023.

The team that secures victory on aggregate will progress to face the winner of the Cameroon/Uganda fixture for a place in the final qualification round.
