‘You’re not our member’ – Kogi ADC tells Dino Melaye
The African Democratic Congress, ADC, in Kogi State has warned Senator Dino Melaye to stop parading himself as a member of the party.
The state ADC Public Relations Officer, Tayo John, made this known in Lokoja on Friday, noting that Melaye is not part of them.
He cited Melaye’s multiple interferences in the party’s activities and continued attacks on the party.
According to him, the party’s state executives remain a separate entity, stressing that there is no merger with those he referred to as marauders like Melaye who claim to be members of ADC.
“Let me state unequivocally that Dino Melaye is not a member of ADC in Kogi state, he is not known in his ward as a member of our party.
“Therefore, he has no identity in our party and cannot speak in the interest of ADC in Kogi State,” he said.
The spokesman described Melaye as a social media content creator whose aim is just to act for content’s sake and make meaningless noise through the media.
He added that Melaye was not a recognised member of ADC but an imposter whose activities do not align with those of the African Democratic Congress, and as such, lacks a say in the composition of the party’s leadership.
