Transfer: Osimhen rules out Galatasaray January exit

Victor Osimhen has expressed his intention to stay at Galatasaray for the rest of the season.

Osimhen joined RAMS Park on a season-long loan from Napoli in the summer.

The Nigeria international has been linked with a move away from the Turkish Super League champions as the summer transfer window approaches.

The Nigeria striker, however, said he is not thinking about moving elsewhere.

“They are talking about January. I am here until the end of the season. I don’t know what Galatasaray and Napoli are talking about after that,” the striker was quoted by Nexus Sports.

“We will talk when they tell me. This is a club I really like.”

Osimhen was on target in Galatasaray’s UEFA Europa League 3-2 win over Tottenham Hotspur on Thursday night.

The 25-year-old has now scored six goals and provided four assists in eight appearances for the Turkish Super Lig champions.
