Transfer: Osimhen asks Galatasaray for additional time

Napoli striker Victor Osimhen has asked Galatasaray president Abdullah Kavukcu for additional time regarding his future.

This was disclosed by respected Galatasaray reporter Kağan Dursun.

“Victor Osimhen, who met with Abdullah Kavukcu, asked for additional time from Galatasaray,” Dursun was quoted by Habersarikirmizi as saying.

Osimhen’s loan spell with Galatasaray ended some weeks ago.

The Nigeria international has not decided his next move but Galatasaray are keen to sign him permanently.

The 26-year-old has attracted interest from several top European clubs, including Juventus Chelsea and Manchester United.

Meanwhile, Galatasaray vice president Ibrahim Hatipoglu recently expressed confidence the club will sign Osimhen on a permanent transfer.

The Turkish Super Lig champions are keen to retain Osimhen after his remarkable loan spell at the club last season in which he scored 37 goals in all competitions.
