PHOTOS: Monarch Installs Makinde Jagunmolu of Ondo Kingdom

The Governor of Oyo State, Seyi Makinde, has been named the Jagunmolu of Ondo kingdom by an Ondo State monarch, Oba Adesimbo Kiladejo, during his 70th birthday and 17th coronation anniversary.

The Governor revealed this in photos shared on his X handle on Saturday.

His caption read, “I was greatly honoured to be conferred the Jagunmolu of Ondo Kingdom by His Imperial Majesty, Oba (Dr) Adesimbo Kiladejo, CFR, as part of activities to mark Kabiyesi’s 70th birthday and seventeenth anniversary as the Osemawe and Paramount Ruler of the Ondo Kingdom yesterday.

“I also had the privilege of delivering the anniversary lecture for the event titled, ‘The Role of Traditional Institutions in Socioeconomic Development in Nigeria’.”
