PHOTOS: Abike Dabiri-Erewa meets Canadian High Commissioner in Abuja

The Nigerian in Diaspora Commission chairman, Abike Dabiri-Erewa, on Wednesday, February 28, received the Canadian High Commissioner to Nigeria, Jamie Christoff, in Abuja.

NIDCOM made this known in a post shared on its X handle on Wednesday.

According to the post, the Canadian high commissioner to Nigeria, stated the need to work together and breach the gap in expectations of Nigerians going abroad with the best intentions to showcase Nigeria.

Christoff said: “I understand the impact of large diaspora groups and their contributions in Canada. Nigeria diaspora is among our top 5 migrant groups and also a central pillar in Nigeria’s economy. It is important for us to help these Nigerians migrate regularly.”
