A photo of Princess Khadija Lamido Sanusi shaking Vice President Yemi Osinbajo have sparked anger by Nigerian Northerners on Twitter.


Princess Khadija Lamido Sanusi, one of the daughters of the Emir of Kano, Sanusi Lamido II, has been accused of ‘haram’ (abomination) for firmly shaking the hand of Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo.


This act, some Twitter users have argued is forbidden by their religion.
According to several reports, the incident happened while she was being introduced to Osinbajo by her father at a function in Abuja over the weekend.
