PDP Nembe LGA Congratulates Gov Duoye Diri

The students’ wing of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Nembe local government area, Bayelsa State, congratulates His Excellency, Senator Douye Diri and His Excellency, Senator Lawrence Ewhrudjakpo on their swearing-in as Executive Governor and Deputy Governor of Bayelsa State. 

In a statement signed by Reginald Tobin Coordinator, PDP Students’ Wing Nembe LGA, the students’ wing described Douye Diri and Lawrence Ewhrudjakpo as the choice’s of God for Bayelsa State.

“We urge the new administration to lead Bayelsa State with the fear of God and for the best interest of the people, as only good leadership will enable the people of the state to believe in the vision of the PDP in Bayelsa State and Nigeria” the statement reads.

The students’ also urged the people of Bayelsa State to support and work with the new administration in the state to ensure a better Bayelsa which will be beneficial to all. 

“We also admonish the APC in the state against propagating violence and disturbing the existing peace in the state, urging them to accept the will of God and work with the new administration”.

“We plead with the new administration to involve youths and students in its government, thereby appointing youths and students into its cabinet and various offices where they can be useful to themselves, the government and the state at-large”.
