INEC chairman commission’s directors Thursday
The new Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission, Prof. Joash Amupitan, is set to hold his first official meeting with the directors of the commission on Thursday.
The notice was issued by the Deputy Director of Publicity, Wilfred Ifogah, on behalf of the Director of Voter Education and Publicity, on Wednesday.
According to the notice, the meeting will take place at 1:30pm in the INEC Conference Hall at its headquarters.
Members of the INEC Press Corps have been invited to cover the opening ceremony of the event.
The notice reads, “The honourable chairman of the commission, Professor Joash Amupitan, will be meeting with directors as follows, date: Thursday, 23rd October, 2025, time: 1:30pm, venue: Conference Hall, INEC Headquarters, Abuja.
“In view of the above, members of the INEC Press Corps are invited to cover the opening ceremony of the event.”
