The much-anticipated West Africa Coatings Show will officially open its doors tomorrow, July 2, at the Landmark Centre, Lagos, marking a historic moment for the coatings and paint manufacturing industry in the region. Organized by dmg events in partnership with the Paint Manufacturers Association of Nigeria (PMA), the three-day trade exhibition is set to become West Africa’s largest coatings event, drawing more than 100 top-tier exhibitors from over 15 countries.

The opening ceremony, scheduled for 10:00 AM, will feature welcome addresses from dmg events and PMA leadership, setting the stage for a robust showcase of cutting-edge raw materials, machinery, and coatings technologies. Exhibitors include global and regional heavyweights such as Brenntag, Multichem Industries, Bühler, Shrine Chemicals, ALLCHEM, Altek, and Parco Enterprises Nigeria, among others.

Speaking ahead of the event, Mr. Abimbolu Babatunde, Chairman of the PMA, highlighted the strategic importance of the exhibition:
“This event marks a major milestone in our mission to expose local manufacturers to global innovations, best practices, and new sourcing opportunities. The collaboration with dmg events is timely and transformative for our industry.”

Paddy O’Neill, Associate Vice President of the Coatings Group at dmg events, echoed this sentiment:
“We are proud to debut the West Africa Coatings Show in Nigeria with the strong backing of PMA. Our thanks go to our sponsors—CAP Plc (Silver Sponsor) and Multichem (Badge Sponsor)—for making this ambitious vision a reality.”
