I’m Married To An Ordained Pastor – Tinubu

Both Tinubu and Osinbajo, alongside other aspirants, are in the race for the ticket of the All Progressives Congress (APC) to contest the presidential election in 2023.

The media office of former Lagos State Governor, Senator Bola Tinubu, has distanced the presidential aspirant from a poster depicting Vice President Yemi Osinbajo as the biblical Judas Iscariot.

Both Tinubu and Osinbajo, alongside other aspirants, are in the race for the ticket of the All Progressives Congress (APC) to contest the presidential election in 2023.

In a statement on Tuesday, Tinubu’s media office alleged that the sponsors of the poster intend to provoke anger against the person and aspiration of the former governor.

It, however, stated that their campaign has failed, saying it was irresponsible and insensitive political propaganda seeking to exploit religious sentiments to manipulate public perception against the APC chieftain.

According to his media office, Tinubu is married to not just a Christian but an ordained pastor, Senator Oluremi Tinubu.

It added that the former governor has developed a very deep fraternal relationship with Christendom at all levels, saying it was a fact acknowledged by many bishops, pastors, and parishioners.

A poster comparing Osinbajo to Judas and accusing him of ‘betrayal’ was circulated on social media after the Vice President declared his intention to succeed President Muhammadu Buhari.

Osinbajo served as the Attorney-General and Commissioner for Justice in Lagos State between 1999 and 2007 while Tinubu was governor.

The orchestrated set-up of a poster campaign seeking to use a literary application of the Biblical story of Judas Iscariot’s betrayal of Jesus Christ to rope Asiwaju Tinubu into a storm of blasphemy is the most desperate antics of anti-Tinubu propagandists in recent times.

Our investigations have revealed that those who created the offensive poster were the same people who created the counter-campaign alleging blasphemy. Their design is to use both to provoke anger against the person and aspiration of Asiwaju Tinubu.

This campaign has failed. This is clearly irresponsible and insensitive political propaganda that seeks to exploit religious sentiments to manipulate public perception against Asiwaju Tinubu, who is ostensibly the most formidable presidential aspirant in this race.

It is widely known that Asiwaju Tinubu is married to not just a Christian but an ordained pastor, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, and has developed a very deep fraternal relationship with Christendom at all levels, a fact acknowledged by many bishops, pastors, and parishioners over the years.

A known Muslim, Asiwaju in words and actions has demonstrated religious tolerance and accommodation. He believes in the cardinal principle of the Nigerian Constitution that no one should suffer discrimination on the basis of creed or opinion.

Besides, as a former governor of Lagos, a state that is a microcosm of Nigeria in terms of religious diversity, his matured management of religion as a way of life, ensured inter-religious harmony in Nigeria’s most industrialised state.

It is therefore impudent to contemplate that a statesman of Asiwaju Tinubu’s standing will condone Biblical allusions that could denigrate his person or status.

These basic facts were ignored by those desperate to set Muslims against Christians through deliberate disinformation of the general public.

While we shall continue to appeal to the Nigerian people to ignore such campaigns of calumny, we reiterate our commitment to prioritise our political communication on the exposition of the truth and dissemination of our point of view with decency and regard to the feelings of Nigerians.

This is an irreducible minimum for us. We urge others to join us in this patriotic mission by shunning desperation and verbal violence in the campaign for the highest office in the land.

Buhari, Northern cabal part of plot to unseat Tinubu, opposition not ready – Primate Ayodele

Published

Ayodele

The Leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Primate Elijah Ayodele, has alleged that former President Muhammadu Buhari is part of a plot to unseat President Bola Ahmed Tinubu ahead of 2027.

Primate Ayodele revealed that Buhari is being influenced by some Northern cabals who are determined to undermine Tinubu’s government.

He disclosed this during the release of his 95-page 2025 prophecies on Friday, December 20, 2024.

According to Primate Ayodele: “Former President Muhammadu Buhari is part of the plot to unseat President Tinubu in 2027. Although he is being dragged into it by Northern cabals, he will play a role. If Tinubu isn’t on alert, he will be shocked by those who would stand against him in 2027.”

Additionally, Primate Ayodele stated that opposition parties in Nigeria are not serious and have not demonstrated readiness to take the presidential seat in the country.

“Opposition parties are not yet ready to win elections in Nigeria. They are a bunch of unserious people who only want to make personal gains. If they are serious about winning in 2027, they need to form one strong coalition; otherwise, it will remain just a dream.”

Speaking further, Primate Ayodele noted that the former governor of Osun, Rauf Aregbesola, will make a major move in the state’s politics and that his movement could evolve into a political party.

“I still maintain that Rauf Aregbesola is a significant factor in Osun State politics. His movement will transform into a kind of political party. If the APC wants to win the state, they should work with Aregbesola; otherwise, they will fail,” he added.

I’ll be bigger in Nigeria – Pastor Adegboyega scheduled for deportation claims

Tobi Adegboyega

The founder of Salvation Proclaimers Anointed Church, SPAC Nation, Tobi Adegboyega, has claimed that he will be more influential in Nigeria than in the UK.

His remarks follow the UK immigration upper tribunal’s approval of his deportation due to an alleged £1.87 million fraud charge.

Despite the ruling, Adegboyega vehemently denied the fraud allegations, calling them baseless and unsubstantiated.

In a preview of an upcoming Off The Record podcast episode, when asked if SPAC Nation was the only church facing such accusations, he emphasized the church’s success in the UK and Europe.

“We are the largest independent church in the UK and Europe right now,” he claimed.

He added, “If I am in Nigeria, I will be bigger than this, 10x maybe. If I am in Paris, I will be happier. It’s holiday for me. London will miss me, so you better tell them, we still need this guy, nobody is close to us entertaining us.”
