A gang of roughly ten terrorists, on Sunday morning raided the ancient town of Kakafu in Kwara State’s Patigi Local Government Area, kidnapping four residents in a fresh attack.

It was learnt that the bandits fired intermittent bullets into the air to instill fear, leading residents to flee in different directions.

During the pandemonium, four people attempting to flee were reportedly apprehended and taken to a nearby forest.

According to sources in the town, the identity of the victims have not been formally confirmed as of the time of reporting this news, although the majority are believed to be women.
