The immediate past governor of Ekiti state, Ayodele Fayose has obtained his nomination form to contest for the number one seat in Nigeria come 2023 under the Peoples Democratic Party(PDP)
Speaking on Wednesday in Abuja after the collection of the form, Fayose noted that Nigeria is bleeding and needs someone of value and clear agenda like himself to stop the bleeding.
According to him, he is the number one person from the south west of Nigeria to signify interest in the PDP to contest.
He said: ” You all know me for infrastructure when I was the governor of Ekiti state, as your president, there will be stomach infrastructure. There will be a ministry of social welfare and stomach infrastructure.”
Fayose blasted the current APC leadership, stressing the party has taken Nigeria and Nigerians backward.
He assured the PDP will take Nigeria forward come 2023.
As at the last count, Fayose becomes the 14th aspirants who have picked presidential form of the party.
