EPL: Carrick is under pressure at Man Utd – Rio Ferdinand
Manchester United legend, Rio Ferdinand, has claimed that manager Michael Carrick is a bit under pressure at the club.
Ferdinand spoke after Man United’s Champions League 2-0 defeat to Atletico Madrid in Spain on Tuesday.
“Yeah, I think he is under a bit of pressure but that is normal being a Manchester United manager,” Ferdinand said on his YouTube channel.
“Let Michael Carrick show us that he can swim against the tide because last season he did fantastically well.
“Let him have a go and let him work at it, let him see if he can turn this around.”
Carrick’s side are currently 13th in the Premier League table after losing two of their matches.
