Ekiti Chief Of Staff, Omoleye Biodun, Bags Leadership Award
The Coalition of Civil Society Organization in Nigeria (COCSAN) has presented an award for quality leadership to the Chief of Staff to the Governor of Ekiti State, Hon. Biodun Omoleye in recognition of his dedication to duty and selfless service to humanity.
Presenting the award to Hon Omoleye in Ado Ekiti, the leader of the Organisation, Mr Peter Olarenwaju, said the organization considered him qualified for the award in view of his track record of diligence, excellence and prudent management of his office as the Chief of Staff to the Governor of Ekiti State.
Olarenwaju, who is also the Southwest Chairman of the Association of Youth Campaign Against Violence, further described the Hon Omoleye as a humble, respectful, tolerant and accommodating to all without prejudice
According to him, Omloleye has demonstrated excellent managerial skills hence the award.
In his response, Hon Omoleye thanked the leadership of COCSAN for the award and urge them to continue in its quest to ensure good governance in Nigeria.
Hon Omoleye, said the award would trigger him to be more committed in rendering qualityà service to the benefit of humanity, Ekiti State and the country at large.
“I am a product of civil society and I have lived all my life for civil society. I am proud to be a recipient of your award as this has come particularly at the beginning of the new year and the new decade. It is good to appreciate those that are doing well, it’s also good to tell people who are yet to do more, so that at the end of it we will leave this world better than we met it.
“This is the concern of some of us, and I want to appreciate all of you for considering me worthy of this award and I want to promise you that I will continue to give my best to humanity”, he said.
