Nigerian musician and DMW boss, David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has once again extended a helping hand to a Nigerian lady named Okolo Classic.
The lady gained attention for a funny video in which she humorously referred to soaking garri as enjoying fried rice.
The viral video which was initially shared by popular Instagram influencer, Tunde Ednut, showcased Classic’s light-hearted narration as she embarked on a late-night mission to purchase “fried rice” due to her hunger and lack of food supplies.
The music star, upon seeing the video reached out to Ednut and requested the lady’s bank details, expressing his intent to gift her N2 million to alleviate her financial constraints.
Ednut thereafter shared the information online, praising Davido’s kind-heartedness.
He commended the artist’s consistent generosity, recounting past instances where Davido had spontaneously offered financial assistance to those in need. Tunde Ednut called upon his followers to offer prayers for Davido, recognizing that everyone faces challenges and needs support, including the music star.
In his announcement, Ednut wrote, “You see why we all love Davido? He has done this many times. After watching, he will laugh and say Tunde, help me give that guy 1 million Naira and then he will say NO ANNOUNCE AM Ooo! But this particular one is N2,000,000 in this era. I had to announce it. Can we have a quick prayer for DAVIDO?”
