Davido dominates as Spotify unveils top 30 Nigerian songs in first half of 2025

Streaming giant, Spotify, has unveiled the top 30 Nigerian songs with the biggest global streams in the first half of 2025.

The list featured songs by Nigerian artists and songs featuring Nigerian artists with the most streams outside Nigeria.

Davido dominated the list with nine songs from his latest album, ‘5ive’ cutting. Burna Boy trailed Davido with five songs.

However, Rema topped the chart with ‘Baby (Is It A Crime)’, followed by Shallipopi’s ‘Laho,’ and Davido’s ‘With You’ featuring Omah Lay.

Chella’s ‘My Darling’, and Burna Boy’s ‘Tatata’ featuring Travis Scott, are ranked four and five, respectively.

Frenna and Shallipopi’s ‘Zazaza’, Coldplay’s ‘We Pray’ featuring Burna Boy, Burna Boy’s ‘Update’, Shallipopi’s ‘Laho II’ featuring Burna Boy, and Davido’s ‘Be There Still’, complete the top 10.
