COVID-19: Senator Biodun Olujimi Gives N20M To Residents

As a paliative measures to reduce the impact of COVID 19 pandemic, the senator representing Ekiti South Senatorial district at the national assembly , Mrs Biodun Olujimi has given out over 20M naira to the residents of the state.

Almost every houshold across the 16 local government areas in Ekiti State benefits from the gesture not minding the political coloration.

An evidence of payment made available to this news medium shows that ten thousand naira was transferred each to over 20 thousand individuals across the state.

“I am sending money to as many people as I can across the 16 Local Government Areas before we can distribute food. Olujimi said.

Senator Olujimi reiterated her commitment to unity and progress of Ekiti state. She also commended the people’s comply to the stay at home order of the government, saying, “in containing the Corona Virus, our people must continue to adhere strictly to proper hygiene and wash hands every time.”

It could be recalled that the senator had earlier last week embarked on aggressive awareness campaign against COVID-19 across the 16 local government areas of the state, distributed precautionary items amongst which were Hand and Body Sanitizers, Antibacterial Soaked Wipes and Educative Handbills to Government Health Facilities, Police Stations, Palaces, Motor Parks and other strategic locations in the state.
