To tackle the wide spread of covid-19 in the country, Comrade Atti Moses, has called on the Bayelsa State government to begin the production of hand sanitizers with locally made alcohol, best known as “kai kai” which is mostly produced in the area.
Moses, who made the call in a statement issued by his media assistant, Reginald Tobin, on Thursday said the state should see the present challenge as an advantage to help the world by producing and selling what can be used to prevent the pandemic.
Speaking on the alleged acceptance of alcohol to fight the disease, Moses explained that the locally made gin apart from being hand sanitizers can also be a remedy to covid-19 if subjected to proper laboratory investigations.
