President of the Senate, Ahmad Lawan, has warned Senators that they only have 30 seconds to vote on clause by clause of Report of Ad hoc Committee on Review of 1999 Constitution.
He added that any Senator who fails to vote within 30 seconds has lost his vote for that clause.
Lawan made this known on Tuesday at the commencement of voting for clause by clause on report of the ad hoc Committee on Review of 1999 Constitution.
According to him, “if you don’t vote within 30 seconds, you have lost your vote.”
He added that the lawmakers are going to vote electronically, saying that the green button means “Yes” while the red button means “No.”
