Christmas: Follow Christ’s Sacrificial Living, Adaramodu Charges Christians

A leading aspirant in the forthcoming governorship election In Ekiti State, Kayode Adaramodu, has urged Christians to follow and emulate Christ’s sacrificial living and humility as they celebrate this year’s Christmas.
In his goodwill message for the season, the politician noted that Jesus Christ was humility personified ranging from his choice of parents, place of birth, actions, and total submissiveness even unto His substitutional death; a sacrifice that has never been equalled in history.
Adaramodu noted that the lessons of the season are very instructive and should form our pattern for daily lifestyle of love and peace among citizens.
“One of the major lessons of this season is love. As Christians, we are to live our lives sacrificially for others, which is the core message of Christmas and purpose why Christ was born. It is a time to love and demonstrate it in deeds, a time to forgive; live in harmony and seek God’s face more importantly, as we approach election year in our state”
While noting that the economy might be too harsh for the people, he urged them to find the opportunity to thank God, to share with others whatever is available, keep hope alive and believe for a better tomorrow.
“As you may have experienced, the global economy took a nosedive some years ago but we take solace in the fact that we among the living. I want to assure you that our State and Nigeria will be revived. Let us shun all forms of crimes; participate in the electoral processes and choose a man of vision for our State in the coming election. There is hope”, Adaramodu said.
