Aston Villa three points behind Arsenal after 2-1 win
Emi Buendia curled in a stunning last-gasp winner for Aston Villa as they defeated Arsenal 2–1 in the Premier League on Saturday.
The Gunners came into the game five points clear and looking to extend their lead at the top.
However, they found themselves on the back foot at Villa Park, and the hosts eventually took the lead in the first half.
A long cross found its way to Matty Cash, who slotted the ball past David Raya.
Mikel Arteta brought on Leandro Trossard, and the Belgian midfielder levelled for Arsenal.
But it was the hosts who got the winner with the very last kick of the game, following a scramble in the box.
The win takes Villa to 30 points, three behind Arsenal ahead of Manchester City vs Sunderland at the Etihad.
