APC to conduct primaries in 192 wards in Edo as some aspirants shun consensus arrangement
Edo State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC), has announced the conduct of primaries in the 192 wards in the state, following the refusal of some aspirants to accept consensus arrangement.
State Chairman of the party, Jarret Tenebe, announced this said some candidates have emerged through consensus arrangement.
He cautioned aspirants to desist from seeking to win the party primary by blackmail or threat.
“Party primaries are not won by threats, blackmail or entitlements. They are won by relationship, respect and the ability to genuinely appeal to party leaders and members.

He explained that party members would queue behind their preferred aspirant during the primaries.
