AFCON 2025: Tunisia top Super Eagles group with win against Uganda

Tunisia leads Group C at the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations, after defeating Uganda 3-1 on Tuesday night.

Ellyes Skhiri and Elias Achouri scored for the Carthage Eagles in the first half, giving them a two-goal advantage.

They extended their lead in the 64th minute of the match after Achouri grabbed his second.

There was enough time for Uganda to get on the scoresheet in extra time through Denis Omedi.

The win means Tunisia are the early leaders in the group on goal difference.
