Leicester City manager, Ruud van Nistelrooy, has said Wilfred Ndidi’s return from injury has rubbed off positively on the team.

Ndidi was previously sidelined for around two months with a muscle injury.

The midfielder returned to action in the Foxes’ Emirates FA Cup fourth-round tie against Manchester United last weekend.

Van Nistelrooy stated that the Nigeria international lifted the team with his performance against the Red Devils.

“It starts with the character of the person, which is excellent. Then there’s the leadership, his arrival in the box, which you saw at United,” Van Nistelrooy told a press conference.
