My administration would be different to run the Rivers state well because there is no political godfather hounding me, All Progressives Congress governorship aspirant in 2023 elections Senator Magnus Abe has said.
He charged the people to choose leaders without questionable character, who would impact their lives positively, irrespective of their political linings.
Abe who stated this during a visit to King (Gbenemene) of Gokana Kingdom in Rivers State, HRM, Festus Bagia, on Tuesday said if elected as governor come 2023, promised to serve the state differently, by putting the people first.
The former legislator who represented Rivers South-East Senatorial in the National Assembly, charged the people of the state to choose leaders with unquestionable character, who would impact their lives positively, irrespective of their political affiliation.

He said that it was the turn of the Ogoni ethnic nationality to produce the next governor of Rivers State, in the spirit of justice, equity and fairness.
Abe said, “Your Majesty, I came to tell you that I, your son, Magnus Ngei Abe, is seeking the office of the governor of Rivers State. If we follow the interest of justice, equity, fairness and what is right. It is the turn of the Ogoni.
“I have served this state in various capacities and offices and I have never been found wanting. This time I want to challenge Rivers people to choose leaders that will be truthful. If you chose me, I’ll put you (the people) first. I want to offer you the opportunity for you to take control of the government of Rivers State and also take control of the destinies of your own sons and daughters.
