Following the denial and counter positions of what Ekiti state governor, Kayode Fayemi said at a policy dialogue organised by the Centre for Democracy and Development (CDD) in Abuja on Thursday, the video of the event has surfaced.
In the video, Fayemi said it is within the right of President Muhammadu Buhari to have preferred candidates. But maintained that the president will have to come and ” campaign” for his candidates at the venue of the convention.

It would be recalled that Governor Fayemi had denied the statement in a release sent out by his Chief Press Secretary, Yinka Oyebode on Friday.
