Enugu Governor Summons Emergency Security Meeting Over The Murder Of Catholic Priest

Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi of Enugu State has summoned an emergency meeting with all heads of security agencies in the State.

This follows the murder of a Roman Catholic Priest in the State by gunmen. 

Angered by the development, other priests stormed the Enugu State Government House, as well as the State Police Command to register their displeasure.

Meanwhile, according to a statement by the Secretary to the State Government, Prof. Simon Ortuanya, the meeting summoned by the Governor will hold today, Friday, August 2, 2019, at the Government House, Enugu, at 1:00pm.

All heads of security agencies in the State are expected to attend the meeting.
