Eight Ministers, including a female, and some top Government Officials were on Wednesday, March 25, tested for coronavirus to determine their status.
The Nation reports that more Ministers will take their turns after the results of this batch might have been released.
It was gathered that the results are expected on Thursday, March 26.
It was learnt that some of the Ministers included a few involved in managing the COVID-19 pandemic for the country.
The blood samples of the Ministers were reportedly taken by the National Centre for Disease Control, NCDC.
Although the list was kept under wraps in line with the relevant guidelines, the Ministers are expected to be communicated on Thursday.
“The import of the test is to ensure that those in charge of the pandemic also have a clean bill of health. Where they need care themselves, the government will take necessary measures,” The Nation quoted a source whose name was not revealed.
