As the COVID-19 continues to escalate, the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC, and government agencies are taking necessary measures to protect the health of the citizenry.
According to NCDC media group, it will take collective efforts to share credible information widely across various channels on coronavirus, hence, the need to launch a communication campaign with the theme, #TakeResponsibility.
They called on Nigerians to build on this campaign to share critical prevention messages on COVID-19 within social and professional circles.
“Use these key points in your messaging: Wash your hands frequently with soap under running water or use an alcohol-based sanitiser; cough/sneeze into tissue and dispose properly or cough/sneeze into your elbow; avoid large gatherings & physical contact.
