Sam Adeyemi Identifies With CAN, Consoles Late Andimi’s Family

Pastor Sam Adeyemi, Senior Pastor of Daystar Christian Centre Nigeria, has on Saturday commiserated with the family of friends of Rev. Lawan Andimi who was kidnapped and beheaded by Boko Haram terrorists. 


This came over the outrage that trailed the murder of the Chairman of the Christian Association of Nigeria, CAN, in Michika Local Government Area of Adamawa State, Rev. Lawan Andimi after Boko Haram insurgents who kidnapped him rejected a N50 million ransom.


The State CAN Chairman, Bishop Dami Mamza, who broke the sad news to some journalists in Yola, said that the insurgents had demanded two million euros (about N50 million) and still went ahead to kill the innocent cleric.


Reacting via his twitter handle, Pastor Adeyemi said: ” We pray God’s comfort and strength for the family and friends of Rev. Lawan Andimi, who was kidnapped and killed by terrorists. 
” We will not fear those that can kill the body and not the soul. We respond with love not hate.”
