Bode George To Contest Against Tinubu For President In 2023
A one time Deputy National Chaiman of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Bode George has declared his intention in running for President in the coming 2023 polls.
This was revealed through a statement by Pathfinder Consortium, a group led by George’s special adviser, Uthman Shodipe-Dosunmu.
The aide who stated that he was in good authority to announce George presidential ambition, said:
“We will engage, inform without derogatory withdrawal. We will challenge, debate, instruct without angry, expletive crudity. We will sustain and affirm in deliberate Churchillian supremacy.
“Pretenders and the perennial time-servers shall disappear from the fray. Only the robust and the lucid patriotic band shall endure.
“And the dark, disruptive uncertainties shall cease, giving way to a renewal and a rebirth of democratic contention.
“It is settled!!! Our vision is stripped of ethnic or sectarian articulations. It is about rebuilding the broken walls, rectifying the festering wrongs, healing the persisting wounds.”
While it is not yet certain which political party Bode Geoge would contest on, he’s most likely to pursue his ambition on the PDP platform.
Recall that there has been strong indication that the APC National Leader, Bola Tinubu, may likely contest the 2023 Presidency.
