Former lawmaker, Magnus Abe, who represented Rivers South-East Senatorial District, has declared his intention to run in the 2023 governorship election in Rivers State on the platform of the All Progressives Congress.
Abe made the declaration during the inauguration of Bola Ahmed Tinubu Vanguard for Wards 4, 5 and 6 in Bera, his hometown, in the Gokana Local Government Area of Rivers State.
Abe said he will support anyone who emerges the APC governorship candidate in a free, fair and equitable contest, saying anything otherwise will be unacceptable.
It would be recalled that Abe has been a logger heads with the minister of transportation, Rotimi Amaechi over who controls the leadership of the party in Rivers state.
