2023: Group Accuses Oyebanji of sabotaging Atiku rally in Ekiti

Ekiti State Government under the leadership of Biodun Abayomi has disappointed the good people of Ekiti State who entrusted with their mandate with the alleged attempt of sabotaging the PDP presidential candidiate, Atiku Abubakar rally in the state.

The publicity secretary of Ekiti Grassroot movement, Adebisi Adeola said governor Oyebanji’s action is most unfortunate and anti democratic.

According to Adebisi, the state government has ordered transportation and union drivers in the state not to work today knowing Atiku is bill to hold rally in Ado Ekiti.

Adeola said government officials on the instructions of Ekiti governor met with union drivers few days ago to conclude plans to frustrate people from welcoming Atiku. It is also worthy to note, however that former governor of Ekiti, Fayose who has been working covertly with Asiwaju Tinubu connived with them in this undemocratic moves

Ekiti people have been subjected to undue stress and pains; businesses have been badly affected and public workers could not get to their places of work because of this ungodly and petty acts from Ekiti State Drivers unions

This is most unfortunate and condemnable display of rascality from Ekiti state government that took up few months ago.

Efforts were made to reach the state government officials to react to the allegation.
