NECO Registrar, Godswill Obioma, Assassinated In Niger State
Professor Godswill Obioma, a Registrar of National Examination Council, NECO, has been killed, Page 36 gathered.
He was reportedly strangled to death by gunmen suspected to be assassins.
His wife, Elizabeth Obioma, confirmed the incident on Tuesday morning saying “the assassins came in and killed him and left without taking anything.”
She told Peoples Gazette that her husband had just returned to Minna, Niger State from Abuja when the armed men attacked him. The police is yet to speak on the incident.
It was learnt that Obioma, 67, was appointed head of NECO on May 14, 2020.
His death came barely 48 hours after Ahmed Gulak, a top Politician of the ruling APC, was killed in Owerri, Imo State.
