For training future leaders in Lagos state through the provision of financial instruments and loans to teachers in the state, Mainstreet Microfinance Bank has been applauded.

Speaking at the official opening of the bank new headquarters located at Plot 1686B, Oladele Olashore Street, Off Sanusi Fafunwa Street, Victoria Island, Lagos, Comrade Hassan Akintoye, Chairman, Nigerian Union of Teachers (NUT), Lagos State Wing, commended the bank for supporting teachers.

In his goodwill message at the occasion, Akintoye noted that Mainstreet Microfinance Bank has been good to teachers in the state.

“I am happy to be here. Mainstreet Microfinance Bank have supported teachers all through the years with loans running to billions of naira. There were no hidden charges. They were factual and straight forward and consistent. They are trustworthy.”

“Mainstreet Microfinance is expanding because of integrity. Teachers in Lagos State are happy with the bank. The bank cherish relationship so much. We place lots of value on the bank. We have no choice but to identify with the bank. We will continue our collaborations with the bank.” He said.

Chairman, Board of Directors, Mainstreet Microfinance Bank, Dr. Dan Abu, thanked the management and staff of the bank for “remaining steadfast and faithful.”

He promised that the Bank “will continue to serve our customers and stakeholders faithfully. We hope to be among the top three Microfinance Banks in Nigeria.”

On his part, the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Mainstreet bank, Adegoke Adegbami noted through the bank’s intervention many people have been lifted out of poverty.

He promised that the bank will keep innovating and creating world-class services for its customers and all stakeholders.
